Job description
Hub Box is looking for a Duty Manager to join the Pentewan team.
Serving up burgers, dogs, fries, cocktails & craft beer from what can be best described as a laid-back beach shack with the Hub Box signature interior design, the venue offers stunning views out to sea, plenty of coastal vibes & award-winning food metres away from the Celtic sea.
It’s not all about experience for us, the right ambition & attitude are more important to us than two decades of experience. If you are a hands-on leader who can deliver in a high-energy restaurant & have a genuine passion for quality & provenance then we want to hear from you.
As a Duty Manager, you join our team too:
- Support the General Manager & Deputy General Manager In leading the restaurant team in the delivery of our ambition
- Create opportunities to coach, mentor & train the restaurant team
- Assist the GM in DGM in shaping the rotas to ensure we have the right people in the restaurant at the right time
- Optimise the commercials by optimising performance & productivity
- Keep the restaurant safe, sound & compliant by ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety, The Good Work Plan & The Working Time Regulation
