Job description
What you will do in your working day
• Training included in all aspects of commis chefing
• Food preparation and supporting the Head Chef
• Preparing breakfasts, lunches and starters initially and moving on to main courses and desserts
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen
The training you will be getting
- Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Commis Chef, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
- In house training delivered by an NLTG assessor
- NLTG assessor will visit every 4-6 weeks
