Role: QTS SEND Teacher
Location: Reading
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £155 - £238 per day
Empowering Students each day as a QTS SEND Teacher in Reading
GSL Education are currently seeking a number of compassionate and dedicated QTS SEND Teachers to join our client schools in Reading . This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and well-being of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a QTS SEND Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons and interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters progress and well-being.
- Assessing and monitoring students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborating with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Providing emotional and behavioural support to students, promoting their social and emotional development.
- Building positive relationships with students and their families, ensuring effective communication and support.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with SEND.
- Specialization in SEND or relevant SEN teaching qualifications are advantageous to your application.
- A passion for working with students with SEND bringing your commitment to their educational and emotional well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Effective classroom management skills, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to enhancing the educational experiences of students with SEND.
Must hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
