Paydens is a family owned business which seeks to reward and empower its staff. Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision of many different services. You will be part of a hard-working and established team working on the counter, working in the dispensary and you will be involved in developing positive relationships with patients and GP surgeries to ensure that we deliver the most effective customer service in the industry.

This role is responsible for the delivery for all aspects of the retail pharmacy offer, supporting the management team to deliver a great shopping experience for all of our customers.

Key responsibilities:

Sales & Service: Deliver great shop-keeping standards, coaching colleagues to deliver excellent standards of product presentation throughout the trading day. Strives to achieve the daily, weekly and monthly sales plan. Delivering first class customer service, and energises the team to deliver first class service in a fast paced environment. Takes ownership for Product knowledge training for self and colleagues to support personalised product advice.

Operational: Ensures availability is managed and works with head office stakeholders to ensure the range of products offered is most appropriate to the local customer. Seeks opportunities to grow profitable sales. Manages all third parties and direct to store accounts in your branch. Ensure that the branch retail operational tasks and routines are consistently delivered, supporting and coaching colleagues to ensure these critical tasks are completed to a high standard every day.

Presentation: Implements all visual guidelines and promotional/ seasonal campaigns to a high standard, working with Head office stakeholders to deliver improvements for next time. Qualifications & Skill’s:

*Ideally you will have experience working in the pharmacy industry, however, we will provide the resources you will need to develop in this role and ensure you are given the appropriate training to carry out the job.

*You must have basic IT knowledge and good customer service skills and must also be able to perform well under pressure, and work as part of a team.

Hours: 10.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday
