Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
2. Deliver goods and packages to various locations in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
3. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring the appropriate handling of goods to minimize damage.
4. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any incidents or delays encountered during the journey.
6. Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and dispatch to ensure smooth and successful deliveries.
7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving license.
2. CPC and Tachograph card is essential.
3. Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, with a clean driving record.
4. Strong knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations.
5. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to complete paperwork accurately.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
