Job description
AM Body Repairs Limited, a leading automotive body repair service provider in Birmingham, is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our dynamic team. As a Panel Beater at AM Body Repairs Limited, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by utilizing your expertise to repair and restore damaged vehicle bodywork.
Main duties include:
• Repair and restore the structural integrity of damaged vehicles by assessing and fixing dents, scratches, and body damage.
• Use various hand and power tools to reshape and straighten damaged panels and frames.
• Remove and replace damaged sections of vehicle bodywork as needed.
• Perform welding and soldering tasks to repair or replace damaged metal components.
• Align and fit vehicle panels, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure they are safe and meet quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills and Education:
• Proven one year of experience as a Panel Beater in an automotive repair setting.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for metalwork and panel beating.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
• Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex bodywork issues.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and precautions related to panel beating.
