Job description

As part of the growth of the School, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Drama or Drama Teacher. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with other Heads of Department within the Performing Arts team, for the mutual benefit of the School. We are particularly keen to appoint an individual to progress the uptake of students participating in Drama at Key Stage 4 and the Sixth Form triple award Performing Arts course.

It is desirable that we appoint a candidate who can establish a track record of excellent examination results over a sustained period. The successful candidate will have a degree in drama and the skills and enthusiasm to maintain our established reputation within the region for Performing Arts with notable contributions from Drama and will have the desire to raise the profile of the School, by utilising the rich variety of resources available. They should have experience or the expertise to contribute to drama events throughout the year and the annual school show.
