Job description

Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Worcestershire.

This role will offer exposure to an interesting and unique client base from an array of sectors including the music, sport, and entertainment industries.

Ideal for an ACA/ ACCA Qualified (PQ or MAAT also considered) individual working in practice seeking a varied role, continued progression and lots of flexibility.

You will be mentored by the Directors, assisting in managing a portfolio of clients providing accounts services, involving regular client meetings.

The Role:

Managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of year-end financial statements
Preparation and review of tax computations
Mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Monitoring WIP
Attending client meetings
Working closely with the Partners
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Part Qualified or MAAT also considered
A strong background in accountancy practice
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Strong working knowledge of accountancy software (Iris/ Xero/ Quickbooks)
Good communication skills
