About the Role:
Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teacher to join a SEN/PRU school in Kidderminster as soon as possible. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
Adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate students' individual learning styles, abilities, and support needs.
Establish positive relationships with students, providing pastoral care, guidance, and support to promote their social, emotional, and academic development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff, therapists, and external agencies, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders on academic achievements and areas for development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a SEN/PRU setting.
Knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and resources to support students' learning and development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Commitment to promoting inclusivity, equality, and diversity within the school community.
