We are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer with good communication and organisational skills to join our established team. Reporting to a Neighbourhood Manager our Neighbourhood Officers manage a patch of properties to deliver a customer focussed Neighbourhood service to our customers.
What will you be doing;
Building and maintaining good landlord / tenant relationships ensuring compliance of both tenants and landlord obligations.
Management of rent arrears, case management of high level rent arrears and Court proceedings.
Case management of legal proceedings from preparation of court paperwork, ensuring compliance of pre-action protocols up to and including presenting the case in court as and when required.
Visits to customer’s homes, inspecting properties and addressing any tenancy related issues and making appropriate referrals where necessary.
Completing regular inspections of our neighbourhoods and resolving any estate management issues
Working closely with our Community Safety, Asset Management Team and partners to resolve issues that impact the community.
What we are looking for;
Knowledge of the full range of Neighbourhood Management Services
Experience of working in communities
Good Standard of education and skilled with Microsoft packages
Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work
Passionate to provide a high standard customer focused service
Level 5 in Charted Institute of Housing would be desirable
