About Our Client

A leading construction and property consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will have experience in providing cost management services for a range of construction projects across different sectors, including commercial, residential, Industrial & Logistics, Offices, Health care and infrastructure.

Job Description

• Manage and lead the cost management team, ensuring that all projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
• Provide cost estimates, cost plans, and value engineering services to clients, advising on cost-saving strategies and identifying potential cost risks.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure that all cost-related aspects of the project are managed effectively.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations to communicate complex cost information to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support on cost management best practices.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in cost management within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
• Professional accreditation with RICS, CIOB, or similar.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
