Job description
The National Account Controller - Personal Care:
- Combine the direct account management of the leading national accounts, pharmacy and concession (agency management), alongside managing the UK sales team.
- Build and cultivate talent to build a fully effective and efficient sales team.
- Motivate, lead, coach and mentor the sales team, so that the team can develop and grow as the business expands.
- Develop, execute and sign off on customer business plans, including growth and profitability KPIs
- Responsible for all sales (retail & e-tail) activities and growth of the business in the UK
- Responsibility for UK (retail) net sales and gross margin
- Development of the commercial and sales strategy, along with the successful communication and delivery of the strategy, both internally and with key partners externally
- Managing senior relationships with direct retail & team retail accounts, ensuring that joint strategies and JBPs are created and aligned.
- Guide, monitor and evaluate emerging business opportunities balancing the sales opportunity with branding, financial and operational feasibility. P&L end-to-end. Directly responsible for driving business competitive growth and profitability
- Lead & execute annual planning, trade marketing budget & negotiations
- Manage pricing strategy for all accounts and implement price increases as required.
- Own S&OP process and coordination of full cross functional support team - ensure forecasting KPIs are met and exceeded.
- Responsible for defining the sales strategy - ensuring KPIs are met throughout the grocery and high street retailers
- Responsible for coordinating, reporting and analysing EPOS data and using to drive profitable growth sales strategies
- Champion evolution of sales system improvements geared to driving future growth.
