We are seeking a professional and passionate Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher in a KS1 & KS2 class. The school in question is located around the centre of Bury. This position will begin in February 2024 and run until the end of the academic year.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Bury, Greater Manchester
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - Long Term
• Start date - February 2024
• Duration / Likely Duration - 1 academic year
• End date (if applicable) - July 2024 (progressing onto permanent position)
• Contract type - Contract
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £85 per day (dependant on experience)
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm
• Hold a DBS that is registered on the Update Service.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
