Job Title: Contracts Analyst

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location: Warwick/Hybrid

Salary: £300-£350 per day via Umbrella

Our client, a leading company in the utilities industry, is seeking a talented Contract Analyst to join their dynamic team in Warwick. This role offers flexibility and hybrid work options, with office presence required one to two days per week.

Role Purpose:

As part of the Future System Operator (FSO) transformational program, this role will be pivotal in both the Transition and Transformation phases, aiding the separation of ESO business from NG Plc and facilitating the establishment of the new FSO organisation. The Contracts Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely completion and coherence of activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition.

The Person:

We are seeking an individual who excels in stakeholder management, possesses commercial acumen, and has experience in contracting and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and possess a can-do attitude towards making things happen. Innovative thinking, resilience, and collaborative mentality are key attributes we value. Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, is essential.

Key Accountabilities:

• Aid Project delivery governance / assurance


• Owning and updating the delivery plans, reporting, dashboards and master Contract lists


• Dependency awareness


• Risk and issue management (maintaining the RAID log)


• Stakeholder engagement and management

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively, solve problems, and organise tasks efficiently


• Analyse complex data structures and manipulate large data sets


• Translate verbal and written information into interface requirements


• Prioritise tasks, react to critical deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively


• Clearly communicate technical information to all levels of staff


• Maintain project plans, track task status, and support delivery schedules


• Foster good relationships, communication, and presentation skills
