The insight team's mission is to influence and enable Tesco leadership to make confident decisions because we understand Customers and Colleagues better than anyone. Our key priorities are putting the customer at the heart of decision making, commercialising insight, business partnering internally and externally, storytelling and democratising insight. Our online business saw huge growth through the pandemic, and plans are now in place to accelerate this growth even further through the launch of a new proposition; You will be responsible for: Build and maintain relationships with the Marketplace and Online Leadership teams and senior leaders. Understanding how Channel Insight can best support their strategic decision making. Being responsible for maintaining regular communication with senior leaders to support where needed on business priorities Developing and Implementing the insight road map for Marketplace, managing research and analytical support to ensure it is lined up against the highest value projects. Ensuring resource is optimised across UK, Enterprise Analytics and Dunnhumby analytical and research heads Being responsible for ensuring project briefs and objectives are clear and timelines and deliverables are mapped Maximising the value and expertise of external agencies, commission and lead ad hoc research projects Leading strategic projects that are designed to improve our understanding of key customer metrics and provide a framework for stakeholders to use the insights as the basis for future plans Collaborating with the other Insight Partners to ensure stakeholder asks are not overlapping and stakeholders are being serviced in a consistent way Working in an Agile environment where colleagues have responsibility for shaping their own work and collaborating across different skillsets to achieve common goals You will need: Adept at project management with a broad experience of working with research and analytical techniques to answer business questions Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into a brief and turning key outputs from projects into strategic recommendations Previous demonstrable experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders - Director level and above Experience extracting, analysing and interpreting data. SQL experience would be beneficial but not essential.
