The Work itself:
Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visa’s internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability
Collaborate cross-functionally to create design artefacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
Actively contribute to product quality improvements, value added service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads
Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions
Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology

Essential Functions.
Works alongside others to implement modifications to existing software code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practices.
Assists with improvements to systems and tools and supports development and implementation of new automation, asking questions as necessary.
Engages with team members and manager during code/design reviews, participates in on-call rotations and incident responses throughout product development and operations cycles.
Leverages working knowledge of systems/platforms and telemetry analyses to identify basic issues in code, processes, and designs when they are inconsistent with customer/business objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
