Your new role
Reporting to an emphatic, knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging HR Manager, this is a true HR partnering post which offer autonomy! This role proactively supports internal customers on key talent and culture initiatives within their allocated areas of responsibility. As well as managing day-to-day people matters by coaching and advising on inhouse processes, systems and people conundrums. Supporting key HR projects the role will enable progress aligned with the business strategies with the aim of enhancing operational effectiveness through improved managerial competence, inspiring leadership and people engagement.
This post offers 1 day per week work from home - HR in this organisation likes to be onsite to support the business and connect with stakeholders and employees as a trusted advisor. Finish 12/1pm on Fridays.

What you\'ll need to succeed
This post will suit a confident and experienced HR Business Partner:

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders
• Experience of promoting best practice within a unionised environment ideally
• Be good if you have an understanding of Total Quality and the principles of lean enterprise.
• Experience within the manufacturing sector, ideally in the automotive environment
• Ideally, CIPD qualified with substantial experience in an HR environment.
• Have a strong and flexible 'what if' attitude towards work
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadline when required, whilst retaining a sense of humour.
• Understands the importance of teamwork and working collaboratively to achieve a shared goal
