Job description
Hiring a Laboratory Technician for our globally recognised client, based in Middlesbrough at their innovative technology centre, for a temporary role.
Working collaboratively, supporting cutting-edge research and development projects including the operation and maintenance of advanced analytical instruments, data analysis and sample preparation, working with researchers to achieve project goals.
The very comprehensive list of responsibilities [available upon request] includes specialising in:
• Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
• X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fluorescence (XRF)
• Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES)
• Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)
You will have a commitment to health and safety quality standards, ability to analyse and problem solve with strong attention to detail and the desire to enhance your skills and knowledge through training.
Further requirements:
• Practical Laboratory experience
• Proficiency in sample preparation techniques and data analysis methods
