Senior Placement Officer Service care Solution are currently recruiting for two suitably experienced professionals to join their team as Senior Placement Officers in Lewisham
As part of the Children Placements Service, the Senior Placement Officers will be responsible for running an effective duty system, overseeing the daily operations of the service, and responding to planned and emergency placement requests. Main Responsibilities As a Senior Placement Officer you will be responsible for:
- Oversee the brokerage of all placements with external placement providers
- Be the first point of contact to access internal foster care placements
- Carry a small caseload of more complex placement searches
- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of external providers
- Work closely with managers and social workers in the fostering service to maximize in-house placement opportunities
Requirements: - Suitably experienced professionals with recent experience of working in a placements / procurement team
