Job Title: Finance Manager

Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum

Location: Stansted

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm (1 hour break)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our client who specialise in the events industry. They are seeking an experienced, reliable Finance Manager to join their vibrant team. As the Finance Manager, you’ll oversee cash flow management, budget preparation, and financial record maintenance, among other tasks.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• AAT qualification or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Xero
• Proven experience in bookkeeping
• Detail orientated with strong time management skills
• Good record-keeping and bank reconciling abilities
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly management account and profit and loss reports preparation
• Resolving outstanding payments and managing purchase and sales ledgers
• Being the first point of contact for all finance queries
• Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Develop and carry out financial policies and processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records with precise bookkeeping.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Additional financial responsibilities include payroll, reconciliation, VAT, and audits.
