Job description

This client is an established manufacturing company looking to expand their team. They wish to find a proven and experienced CAD/CAM Engineer top join the business.

Responsibilities: -

Create 3D models and accompanying drawings.
Working with production documentation and interpreting customer instructions.
Quality checking own work.
Using measuring equipment.
Produce high quality drawings.
Create 3D models.
Amend existing parts.
Speaking directly to customers when there are issues with drawings.
Programming jobs.
Timing and costing for sales.
Producing model files for customers when required.
Maintain drawing standards.

Skills and experience: -
Proven skills and experience in CAD/CAM.
Excellent attention to detail.
Eager and willing to learn.
Communication skills (written and verbal).
Problem solving.
Good time management.
Being able to read and interpret and understand customer drawings.
Good customer service skills.
Conversant with Solidworks.
