Job description

The Growth Company’s Trafford Park delivery centre requires a Skills Development Tutor to deliver a Multi-Skills Boot Camp. It will be their responsibility to deliver a rigorous and effective learning experience.

It is imperative the successful candidate enables positive achievement of learners, whilst meeting Awarding Organisation standards and guidelines, Growth Company (GC) Policy, Procedure, and wider quality frameworks.

Candidates need to be occupationally competent in all elements of Multi-Skills to level 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead by example and demonstrate leading competencies and practices across the business unit and company.
Take part in cross business unit and company development projects.
Operate within the Growth Company Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Framework to ensure consistency and compliance to internal and external policy, procedure, guidelines, and requirements and take part in the evaluation and ongoing development of these processes.
Deliver effective and efficient assessment processes that enable individual learners to progress towards and achieve identified milestones in a timely manner, supported by fair and consistent judgement of valid, reliable, sufficient, and authentic evidence.
Record assessment decisions fully and contemporaneously and ensure the prompt and managed completion of IQA actions to enable early submission and processing to maximize timely success.
Implement feedback and development action points provided from the IQA resulting from IQA sampling, observation of practice and standardization themes to continuously improve the quality and rigor of assessment for learners.
Monitor and respond to learner and employer feedback to continuously improve the learning experience for individuals and groups.
Meet personal quality indicators, KPIs and MLPs as planned and those of the Delivery Team and The Growth Company.
Continuously review and reflect on own practice development needs and undertake CPD as required to improve own contribution to the work of the Delivery Team and The Growth Company as a whole.
Report and provide timely updates and respond to requests for information from the Senior Training and Curriculum Manager and Operations Manager.
To account manage your employer caseload selling the widest possible range of services whilst continuingly replenishing your caseload.
About You:

Ability to develop assessment and Internal Quality Assurance processes.
Sector/Area experience and knowledge of provision required.
Effective & professional communication with Learners/Employers/colleagues.
Take part in Standardization across a range of disciplines and business units.
Lead by example on compliance and change staff behaviours.
Requirements:

Influence and lead programs of change that make a positive impact on customer satisfaction and business performance.
Ability to comply on Internal Quality Assurance Policies and Procedure.
Qualified Assessor (A1 or TAQA) – with consistent Grading of ‘Good’ and above and ‘low risk’ Portfolio sampling risk band.
Qualified IQA (V1) desirable.
