Grade UE06 £37,099 - £44,263 per annum. (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 - £46,974 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024).
Information Services Group - Applications
Full time - 35 hours per week
Fixed term - 18 months
What the job involves:
• Delivering testing of HR and Finance processes in our Oracle Fusion based People & Money system to ensure the process are fit for purpose and ready for implementation.
• To deliver this you will analyse requirements, identify tests required and plan, design, script and execute tests.
• You will identify and document defects and communicate these to key stakeholders.
• You will work with key stakeholders to ensure effective user acceptance testing.
A bit about you:
• Successful candidates will have significant experience of software testing and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Communication skills are critical for this the role – colleagues should be able to communicate with a range of stakeholders: both inside the University and in external organisations; with technical colleagues and colleagues in business teams; and with colleagues at all levels of the University.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or with other ERP systems is highly desirable as is experience of test and defect management tools including TestRail and JIRA.
