Exciting Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £40,000 - £70,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Newry (Projects all NI based)

Opportunity for Junior through to senior level

An established construction company, recognised for excellence and innovation in Northern Ireland, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

With a focus on local projects and a commitment to maintaining the highest construction standards, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of diverse projects across Northern Ireland.

Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in project management, ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects within budget and to the client's satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

• Estimating project costs and preparing tender documents
• Managing project finances, including valuations and cost control
• Procuring subcontractors and managing contracts
• Overseeing project cash flow and financial reporting
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar field
• Demonstrated experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
