Job description

Based in Bexhill-On-Sea, East Sussex, a fantastic firm of chartered accountants is searching for an Accounts & Tax Senior to join them as a key addition to their successful team. As you develop within this practice and position, you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands-on role, delivering accounts, management accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and planning services to a range of key clients.  Clients are wide-ranging across varied industry sector OMBs, larger corporates, smaller sole traders, partnerships, and other clients. There is a real breadth and quality to the client range. Career progression prospects are on offer, with a clear path to progress in your career.

As an Accounts & Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare Limited Company and LLP accounts, corporation tax computations, sole trader and partnership accounts, and management accounts
• Prepare VAT returns and personal tax returns
• Work closely with the partners
• Assisting and training junior members of the team

Requirements

• For this fantastic Accounts Senior opportunity you may be an AAT qualified, and/or studying ACCA or qualified, looking to build further on your experience.
• You will have a background in an accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience preparing accounts, tax, and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• You will be looking for a challenging, long-term career move, at Accounts Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.

Benefits

£30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
