An opportunity has arisen to join the Technical Support Department of of a growing Automotive Technology company.
We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer who has a knowledge of VPN's, LAN/WAN, VLAN's, Switches and Routers both fixed and cellular.
The company has a strong support and help ethos between it's employees. The ability to work together as a team supporting each other is crucial.
The role will be office based with scope for working from home and occasional offsite work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support to the Installation & Maintenance Team
- Assist the Development team with network requirements
- Monitor, troubleshoot and identify LAN and WAN network issues to ensure minimal connectivity problems and outages
- Upgrade network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Assisting with internal networking requirements working alongside our IT services partner.
- Design Network Diagrams for the deployment of 4G connected enforcement equipment
- An interest in emerging technologies for future upgrades
- Support the Sales team with technical queries during and after the tender process
- Other duties as required by the business
Skills required:
- VPN's, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Variable Submasking.
