Job description
Element has an opportunity for a Operations Support Manager to join our team on a fixed term contract based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.
- To be instrumental in the achievement of efficiency targets within the UK client base
- To ensure that audits are delivered against planned dates and accreditation requirements
- To ensure the accuracy of the data in the client database by regular exception reporting
- To ensure that Client Managers have full administrative support in the delivery of their audit schedules.
- To provide reports to assist the Operations team in the delivery of their objectives
- To ensure that the information in the Client Database is accurate for the annual invoice run and ensure that all clients are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
- To work with the Audit Resources and Technical & Approvals teams in the delivery of client audit programmes and deliver operational efficiencies
- To liaise with the Accounts function working towards the consistent reconciliation of the data in the Client Database and the accounting Fees In Advance reports
- To review Operational Procedures against current working practices. To revise as necessary ensuring their robustness and to maximise opportunities for efficiencies, whilst ensuring that they meet accreditation requirements
- To review all applications for withdrawal of certification with a view to retaining the client
- To ensure that all customer issues and complaints are dealt with in an effective and timely manner
- To support the UK Operations team in the management of the credit control processes
- To provide performance reports as required by the General Manager as necessary
- To undertake any other duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Excellent computer skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and some knowledge of customer databases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Confident and outgoing
- Excellent customer service attitude and skills
- Self-starter with project management abilities, excellent organisation, time management and finishing skills
- Prompt, accurate and reliable
- Diplomatic, yet firm when necessary
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to supervise and direct others, ensuring they have the correct skills and training to undertake their roles
