About the role
BI Analyst
NRG are delighted to announce we are working alongside a well-established brand in the Health and Fitness industry in their pursuit of a BI Analyst who will play a pivotal role in transforming their analytical and reporting suite. Working across the business you’ll collaborate with stakeholders and various departments to identify and improve on reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present data-driven insights utilising Power BI.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data visualisations to support effective decision-making.
- Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to discover relevant information and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their reporting needs and requirements and turn these into technical specifications.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
About you:
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools including, Power BI and Google Big query.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and experience with statistical software is a plus.
- Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
