Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Housing Assistant.
We are looking to appoint a preferably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Housing Assistant in the General Housing Team. You will be working within the General Housing Team to support the development and delivery of effective and high-quality housing services to our customers.
About the role
You will provide an efficient administrative service which will include the maintenance of records on behalf of the team, mail merges, and process payment of invoices and manage general queries relating to invoices. You will be required to deal with general customer enquiries, the termination process and enquiries relating to our furniture service. You will also support colleagues with home visits, scheme or estate inspections, anti-social behaviour cases and take part in any community events.
About you
You’ll wow us with your enthusiasm and demonstrate that you have the ability, attitude and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues and support the work of Karbon in our communities.
It goes without saying that you will have good organisation, time management and ICT skills. But most importantly you will be great with people.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

• Housing Assistant - Temporary role initally for 6 months possibly extending for a further 4 months.
• Salary is £23,716 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2152 per annum.
• Location: flexible base can be Stanley, Gosforth or Newburn.
• Regular travel will be required.
• Hours: 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
