Insurance Broker

Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 + Commission

Location: Cheltenham

An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of Cheltenham top Commercial Brokerages for an Insurance professional looking to take on more responsibility and develop their career.

Your contribution will enable the business to concentrate on providing a high level of service to both new and existing clients and in return you will have the opportunity to enhance your Insurance knowledge. 

The successful applicant will be offered stable environment to work within and have the opportunity to develop your insurance knowledge. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide new business terms based on information supplied and negotiate terms with agencies
• Provide renewal terms based on information held and negotiate terms with agencies
• Maximise income for the Company wherever possible
• Prepare files for processing
• Liaise with insurers
• Continually identify new leads and gain agent new business
• Maintain an effective sales and processing system for new business
• Make underwriting decisions

Skills:

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Computer Literate
• Experience of working within the Insurance Industry -With a focus on Motor Insurance.
