We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our in-house Facilities Management team of Property Plus on a permanent basis.
We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As one of our Cleaners, you will carry out cleaning tasks in our offices or communal meeting rooms in Sheltered Housing Schemes. Duties will include cleaning common areas, cleaning toilets and guest accommodation, bath and shower areas; polishing surfaces, furniture and office equipment; replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels as required; empty waste bins and use chemical agents as directed by the supervising officer. You will carry out these tasks to a high standard to maintain a safe working environment to keep our staff and visitors safe.
We will provide you with a company van so that you can carry out your day-to-day work, therefore, it is essential that you have a Full UK Driving licence.
Skills and experience required:
Prevous experience of carrying out basic cleaning tasks (desirable)
Knowledge of basic health and safety requirements
Ability to work well on own initiative
Ability to carry out the physical tasks required by the post, including lifting, carrying and pushing waste bins, cleaning trolleys and vacuum cleaners. Being able to move chairs, tables and other office furniture in order to undertake cleaning duties
Ability to read cleaning products and use them safely
Good verbal communication skills
