Deputy Manager - St Clements Nursing Home
We are looking for an experienced and organized Deputy Manager to join our team at St Clements Nursing Home. The Deputy Manager will provide leadership and support to our staff in order to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day management and oversight of the nursing home operations
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and codes of practice
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained
- Developing strategies to improve operational performance and efficiency
- Monitoring budgets and controlling costs where appropriate
- Leading by example with a positive attitude towards residents, visitors, staff members, families, vendors/contractors etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a nursing home setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
