We are looking for a new Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our finance team. This is a remote working opportunity, and we are seeking applicants who have a proactive approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to help support our colleague in the delivery of advocacy.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for purchasing co-ordinator to join our finance team. This is a new role within VoiceAbility and you, with the support of your line manager, will need to develop processes and procedures for purchasing goods and services to achieve best value for money, ensuring accurate records are maintained to assist in the reporting processes.
This is a remote role, so a suitable home internet connection is essential.
About you
You will have some experience of working in finance, with Sage software, and desirably be a member of ATT, or actively studying to achieve this, or have a relevant purchasing qualification. You will be able to work under pressure and prioritise you own workload, seeking support where needed. You will have strong administrations skills, be able to process information confidentially, and have a high level of attention to detail.
You will be self-motivated with the confidence to challenge the status quo, and be open to challenge, to achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our colleagues have the right equipment to undertake their role in ensuring an individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people they directly support.
You will support the organisation by ensuring that contracts for the services required are in place, achieving the best possible value for money.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our colleagues to deliver the highest levels of advocacy possible.
