Connect Driver Solutions have exciting opportunities available for Class 1 Night Shift Drivers in Newport!

Start date: March 2024 - Induction to be done before the driver can start

Pay rates: £15 per hour (PAYE)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 6pm to 6am

As a Class 1 Night Shift Driver , your responsibilities will include:

• Driving between South Wales and Christchurch
• Class 1 driving, operating a walking floor (experience desirable but not essential as training is given)
• Collecting/delivering processed and unprocessed waste & biomass products to various sites across the UK
• Performing vehicle checks

The successful Class 1 Night Shift Driver will have:

• A valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence held for at least two years
• Minimum of 6 months' experience on C+E vehicles
• Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
• No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN or TT codes accepted

Full PPE required:

• P3 respirator (NOT FACE COVERING)
• Hard hat
• Hi-vis
• Eye protection
• Laced up boots
• Gloves
