Job description

Please refer to attached Job Description for full list of responsibilities but will include: In accordance with agreed protocols and Standard Operating Procedures, the post-holder will be expected to prepare biological samples for analysis, undertake the required analysis and interpret results, reflexing further actions, when necessary, in all defined areas of the laboratory. As a specialist Biomedical Scientist, these tasks will be performed unsupervised. The post-holder will ensure that the processes have been performed to comply with all relevant quality standards. Maintenance of competency, fitness to practice and continued professional development is necessary for all HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientists.
