Role Overview:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with our experienced educators to deliver tailored support and intervention sessions for Lower and Upper Key Stage 2 students. Your duties will include:

Assisting in the implementation of personalized learning plans and innovative teaching approaches tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.

Fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of all Key Stage 2 pupils.

Actively involving students in engaging classroom activities and intervention sessions to enrich their educational experience.

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to establish strong partnerships and ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience working with older children in an educational setting, specifically within Key Stage 2.

Specialized experience in taking intervention classes for both Lower and Upper Key Stage 2 students.

A profound understanding of special educational needs and adaptability in implementing effective teaching approaches.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.

Kindness, compassion, patience, and empathy towards students with diverse learning needs.
