Job Title: Investor Reporting Associate

About The Role: My client is looking to add an Associate to join their Reporting team. This role is pivotal in the preparation and dissemination of investor communications, focusing on client reports for private equity fund-of-funds, feeder funds, and monthly hedge fund reporting for private clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team of investment professionals to prepare and review quarterly client reporting for private equity, real estate, secondary, and credit fund-of-funds/feeder funds.
- Review and distill information from reports provided by underlying private equity sponsors, crafting pertinent details for inclusion in client quarterly performance updates.
- Analyze and scrutinize quantitative fund and portfolio company performance information, collaborating with administrators to ensure accurate data for reporting.
- Coordinate internal Compliance review and approvals.
- Ensure the timely distribution of reports to clients and relationship managers.
- Review monthly Hedge Fund fact card reporting.
- Formulate language for capital call and distribution notices to investors.
- Sustain communication with underlying financial sponsors regarding portfolio company activities and their impact on valuation.
- Coordinate periodic investment portfolio and valuation reviews with team members.
- Act as a Private Equity product specialist, handling requests for information from relationship managers and clients.
Qualifications:
- Possess 2-5 years of experience, preferably in hedge funds, private equity, and/or real estate
- Previous experience in report writing, investor communications, and business writing skills is advantageous.
- Demonstrated motivation, attention to detail, and ability to independently problem-solve.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a strong grasp of Excel for data manipulation and presentation.
- Strong communication skills are imperative.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing assignments with excellent time management skills.
- Proactive team player with a positive outlook, willingness to take initiative, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
