Demand and Supply Planner page is loaded
Major Job Functions:
Demand Planning - The SDP will support the Demand Planning Process providing the Sales Team with Forecast Analysis and making suggestions based on historic trends and market intel provided by Sales Managers. The SDP will be responsible for setting up and supporting the monthly Demand Review meetings.
Supply Planning - The SDP supports the S&OP team by preparing reports to use in the Supply Reviews with CAT and to provide information that can be used to challenge CAT representatives on Supply issues and constraints.
KPIs Analysis. Run reports to update Forecast Accuracy KPIs and Supply Planning KPIs and perform root cause analysis to identify key drivers.
Process improvements. Support the Senior SDP and S&OP Manager to review the Demand and Supply processes and identify changes to improve the status quo.
Ad hoc requests. Deal with any Demand or Supply requests or queries raised by the S&OP Manager, Sales or the Supply Chain Team.
Specific Skills:
Demand and Supply experience
Data management and data manipulation
Expert level in Excel - Ability to automate reports using macros
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
Identifying patterns and highlighting deviations to generate accurate forecasts
Knowledge:
Demand Planning Expertise
Support & utilise forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
Support Senior SDP & S&OP Manager with risk modelling
Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations.
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts.
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Supply Planning Experience
Creating inventory reports to support Supply process.
Education & Experience:
Educated to a degree level is ideal
Experience in similar Demand and Supply Planning roles is essential
Supply Chain certifications are a plus
Experience in construction-equipment manufacturing is advantage
