Financial Accountant Assets and Cashflow
6-9 months fixed term contract
Hours: 37 p/week Monday Friday.
Location: Support Centre, Stoneclough Rd, M26 1GG. Hybrid (min 3 days in the office)

We are looking for a financial accountant to ensure the timely completion of fixed asset reports and maintenance of fixed asset register. Completion of the cashflow documents and completion of fixed asset data cleanse for the new IFS system.

As a Financial Accountant, your role will include:
- Supporting the team with the project work for the planned new finance system implementation, including fixed asset module and capex.
- Managing one Assistant Financial Accountant, providing support and working to help develop skills and experience.
- Ensuring the spreadsheet based fixed asset register is maintained and all fixed asset monthly tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Preparation of weekly and monthly capex reports for the Finance Director and Head of Facilities. Resolve any field queries arising from the Facilities and IT departments.
- Preparation of the monthly and year to date cash flow commentary, identifying the significant cash movements in the reporting month.
- Liaising with stakeholders to resolve any queries and any other ad-hoc analysis of fixed asset expenditure as may be requested from within the finance department or the wider business.
As a Financial Accountant, you will need:
- To be ACCA part/full qualified or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritise to ensure tight deadlines are met.
- The Ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff, practice staff and senior management.
- High level of attention to detail
