Pure are recruiting an Events Manager for a leading UK B2B business for farming products and services. Role Overview:
As the Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating memorable and impactful customer-facing events. From large-scale exhibitions to intimate shows, you will be at the forefront of meticulously planning, coordinating, and executing each event to perfection. Your creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive mindset will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our events and fostering unparalleled satisfaction among customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your marketing team to conceptualise, plan, and execute a diverse range of customer-facing events.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, time lines, and budgets, ensuring all aspects are strategically aligned with company objectives.
- Source and liaise with vendors, venues, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary resources and services for each event.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements including venue selection, catering, transportation, tech and audio-visual requirements.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of event promotional materials, ensuring effective communication and engagement with attendees.
- Manage event registration, attendee lists, and post-event follow-up to gather feedback and measure success.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and impact of events.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 plus years) in event planning and coordination, preferably in a customer-facing role, within a B2B business.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, short overnight stays will be occasionally required.
