We are seeking a qualified and technically proficient Group Accountant to join our client's dynamic international Group Finance team. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting multinational operations, reporting directly to the Group Controller and collaborating closely with Finance Managers across various international regions.

About You...

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA), possessing strong technical knowledge of IFRS with experience in a multi-currency environment. You will embrace ever-changing environments and pride yourself on being solutions orientated, with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. Having demonstrated the ability to collaborate with and provide advice to the c-suite and senior stakeholders both within and outside of finance will be incredibly advantageous in your application for this role. Crucially, we are seeking candidates with the proven ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines, demonstrating the willingness to take on new projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities...

• Manage group accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Foster close collaboration with finance managers across Europe, US, and Australia.
• Assist in Group Audit activities, providing expert advice on technical accounting matters.
• Contribute actively to the implementation of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other sustainability accounting standards as part of the ESG taskforce.
• Support the ESG committee in achieving sustainability goals and decarbonization efforts.
• Take ownership of accounting for the main Group holding company and smaller subsidiaries, including posting direct costs, reconciling cross charges, and preparing variance reports for executive review.
• Collaborate with Group Finance team on monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and analytical review processes.
• Work alongside Group Tax, Treasury, Reporting, and FP&A functions to enhance reporting standards within the Group.
