An exciting opportunity has arisen for a midwife wishing to make a difference., the post holder will work within the maternity quality and safety team with midwifery and obstetric leads.

The transformation midwife will have a strong emphasis on quality improvement and will work closely with the quality and safety team and will be responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of quality improvements and initiatives which align to overall aims of the three year delivery plan for Maternity and Neonatal Services (2023) as well as national and local maternity services requirements

This role is for 22.5 hours per week on a 1 year fixed term contract.

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team and will be expected to deliver an effective, high quality and well-coordinated Quality Improvement approach. The role must advocate a systems level coordinated approach across all areas of maternity services. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of clinical, operational managerial and service users to ensure all aspects of the improvements identified can be delivered. The role will be pivotal in ensuring practical improvements in the health and wellbeing outcomes with the maternity services at the IOW Trust
