Product Marketing Manager
Location: Poole
Salary : up to £50,000 p/a
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their business. The successful candidate will be chiefly responsible for generating the revenue, and continuing the growth of the business. Direct product experience and product management would be beneficial.
Duties:
- Responsible for new product/website launches or alternative product sourcing initiatives
- Hands on leadership of wider trading resource for high quality delivery & management
- Proactively contribute ideas for growth within specific product areas
- Collaborate with Ecommerce Team to proactively utilise and leverage ecommerce functionality
- Leadership of commercial strategy and activity
- Liaise with business development to act on additional commercial opportunities as required
- Deliver plans to hit commercial/trading KPIs and targets
- Proactively lead and constantly optimise day to day trading performance and administration
- Liaise with internal teams – Product & Innovation, Supply Chain, and Group Buyer
- Deliver alternative advertising – including trade shows and PR
- Improve processes to help drive commercial success, expediency, and efficiency
- Coach Marketing Executives within the Marketing Services team when required
Skills & Qualifications
- A relevant CIM marketing qualification, marketing degree or equivalent marketing experience
- Strong commercial drive and ability to consistently recommend and act on new ideas to increase growth across relevant business units and products.
- Ability to devise and deliver product based direct marketing strategies commensurate with KPIs and objectives
- High level of IT proficiency, including MS Office (inc. Excel) and other tools such as Business Objects and Power BI
- Interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong working relationships, with positive hands-on leadership by example
- Experience of managing direct report(s)
- Detailed commercial knowledge of product and direct marketing concepts
