We’re delivering some of the most exciting fundraising in the UK.
We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join our dedicated Community and Events team.
Our Community Fundraising Team are focused on raising £1.8m+ working across the UK in 2024. After a successful 2023fundraising year, this role offers the opportunity to grow community fundraising with the enthusiastic supportof people affected by MS, their friends and families, including members of our local groups.
Our team works within a lively and creative fundraising department, where we break down barriers and collaborate toensure supporters at all levels get the very best service. You’ll be given free rein to develop your skills andexperience, while building relationships with grassroots supporters to maximise income.
You’re likely to be in a similar role for another charity, confident, enthusiastic and with great customer care andcommunication skills. It would be advantageous to have experience of developing a new pipeline of support withina large geographical area.
You'll know how work closely with supporters, volunteers, local groups and our wider fundraising team.
You’ll be able to demonstrate a good understanding of community and events fundraising and a collaborative approachto teamwork.
Most importantly, you’ll be supporter-focused and willing to go the extra mile to support our amazing existingfundraisers and help them reach their fundraising goals as well as proactively developing new relationshipswithin your specified region.

Our Stravaig Project based in the Partick area of Glasgow, provides direct access to supported accommodation, givinga safe environment for young vulnerable homeless people who have various levels of support needs and who may beexperiencing or at risk of homelessness and maybe excluded from other services.
Due to an internal development opportunity we are looking to recruit a Registered Service Managerwho can manage andlead this well-established service. You will ensure dynamic and effective leadership of the team to deliverexceptional care and support to individuals to achieve personal outcomes.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a high level of interpersonal skills withthe ability to engage at all levels. You will be accountable for managingyour own workload and leading the staffteam to ensure the service delivers a high-quality, personcentred service toall individuals that we support. Youwill be responsible for managing all aspects of the service including budgets, People and contract management. Agood knowledge of IT including MS Office 365 is essential for this role.
Previous line management experience is essential along with an in-depth knowledge of young care experiencesindividuals and homeless young people. If you have a proven track record in leading a team and supportingindividuals to achieve individual outcomes this will be the right opportunity for you.
You must possess a minimum of SVQ4 Social Services and Healthcare (SQCF Level 9 - practice) qualification orequivalent. Candidates must also have or be willing to work towards an award in management that is certificatedat or above SCQF Level 9 (minimum 60 credits) and mapped against the National Occupational Standards: Leadershipand Management for Care Services SCQF10 or SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10, to beachieved within 2 years of commencement in the role or as defined by the SSSC, if sooner. A Registered ManagersAward, RGN etc will also be considered and SSSC registration appropriate to the role is required.
The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible shift pattern to meet the needs to the service and willbe required to participate in an off duty on-call rota.

About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide inspirational regional teamleadership for designated Regional and Area Associations and local volunteers.
