Job description
Developing the established regional offices with strong working relationships with the Country Managers in place. This includes each office has the necessary breadth of skills and resource and actively develop the skill set of the managers with guidance relating to customer, carrier, team development and business support function matters (Customs, Finance, IT, HR, Health & Safety, Legal Compliance etc)
Identify development opportunities which could include new office set up, acquisition targets and new service offerings.
Strategy - Work alongside the Senior team to deliver the strategy for the International business area which ensures sustainable and profitable growth is achieved.
- Translates strategic goals into action plans for their management team ensuring accountabilities are clear and the team fully understands how their work impacts and contributes to the business.
- Continually review service offering and geographical coverage to support the strategic aims of the business.
Commercial, Customers and Suppliers - The main day to day senior contact for customers and Suppliers maintaining strong relationships which are reflective of the Company's values.
- Ensures the Operations team understands customer needs, meets customer needs, delights customers and develops customer loyalty.
Financial and Operational - In conjunction with the Board agree the financial budget for the business area's taking full accountability for P&L.
- Ensures that there is an appropriate method of measurement, evaluation and review of their business area, KPIs, which ensure that the strategic and day to day performance targets are achieved in each key area of the business and the board are kept updated.

People Demonstrates strong people management and leadership capability with the management team, across areas and function, utilising and role modelling the full range of people management tools to great effect, and 'walks the talk'.
Ensures their team has the right capability, capacity and organisational design to take the business forward and the team are fully engaged, work collaboratively, possess a deep understanding of the business and the drivers that create value and proactively seek to continually make improvements to reduce the operation costs.
