3rd Line Support Engineer

Salford, Greater Manchester - Hybrid (3/2 split)

About the role:

As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you'll be the go-to technical expert, tackling complex issues escalated from 2nd Line Support Engineers. You'll leverage your deep technical knowledge and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve critical incidents, ensuring seamless operations for our valued clients.

- Working with well known organisations across a range of difference domains from both public & private sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incidents from customers and our own hosted environment on a priority basis
• Provide technical support to our 2nd line engineers
• Utilizing ITIL manage repeat incidents and progress them under this framework
• Support customers on large projects around Data Centre migrations, Cyber/Cloud Security & Performance Monitoring
• Be part of an on-call team to respond to clients critical issues as and when required

Must have proven experience supporting the following technologies:

• Virtual: VMware (vSphere, vSAN), Hyper-V
• Storage: NetApp FAS/E-Series or other enterprise storage
• Backup: Veeam Backup, Cloud Connect, Immutable Backups
• Hardware: Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, HP Proliant
