Speech & Language Therapist - Aurora Severnside School
Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £10,520.68 - £17,822.99 (FTE £30,617.60 - £51,896.00)
Hours : 16 hours per week – Term Time Only

The main purpose of the role:
As our Speech and Language Therapist ; your role will be to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team by making initial and ongoing assessments of our students speech, language and social communication skills, develop, implement and review communication programmes, and deliver speech and language therapy interventions, direct and indirect, 1:1 or in small groups, as appropriate.
To facilitate this, you’ll be expected to plan, provide and further develop an integrated Speech and Language Therapy service to the students at Severnside School, covering communication needs.
Additionally you’ll supervise and provide support and guidance to our therapy assistants and support staff where appropriate.
Naturally, you will take responsibility for writing professional assessment reports following assessments and progress reports for annual review of EHCP, and contribute to the development of the wider service implementation plan in respect of the speech and language therapy input.
