The Senior Finance Analyst at AllPoints Fibre   will work closely with the Head of Group Finance and be responsible for managing and preparing high quality business analysis to support the Group CFO, the Shareholders and Board.

Group Finance is positioned between the two operational divisions and the CFO & investors, the role would suit an individual that enjoys a breadth of finance responsibilities within a fast paced and highly commercial environment.

The role will support all aspects of the Group Finance function. This will require reporting and analytics that support the Group’s Board and Shareholders on a monthly, annual and ad-hoc basis. In particular the role will provide specific support to the development of long-term business modelling which is paramount to business strategy and optimisation of business performance. This will require active collaboration with senior operational heads and their teams to understand and translate business activity into modelled scenario planning.

What you will be doing:

• Continuous maintenance, reiteration and improvement of existing long-range modelling, to ensure it is relevant and updated for actual performance. 
• Collaboration with operational stakeholders to understand variances to actual as well as short/long-term cause and effects. 
• Work with subsidiary finance colleagues and business managers to ensure that key inputs and data dependencies for long-term modelling are accurate.
• Work on quarterly valuation report, outlining key changes to valuation driven by long term range model inputs and assumptions, causes and long-term effects. 
• Provide support to wider Group Finance activities, covering: Monthly/Quarterly Shareholder and Board reporting. Monthly and ad hoc reporting analysis on subsidiary performance. Preparation of monthly funding requests and co-ordination and challenge to subsidiary cash flow management. 

• Work on the automation of recurring processes including development of Power BI reporting in conjunction with Data Team colleagues

About you:

We are seeking a fully qualified accountant who can bring a highly analytical and curious approach. To be successful in this role you will need to have prior experience of building and developing best practice, long range business models. Due to the nature of the role you will be able to challenge business stakeholders and develop strong relationships. You should demonstrate experience of working independently to co-ordinate multiple priorities.
