Job description

An independent, family-owned business is seeking a personable and capable Accounts Administrator to join the team based in the West Lancashire district. Please note, this role is a full-time position, and you will be required to be on-site 5 days per week.

You will play a key role in supporting the finance department and primarily be responsible for supporting purchase ledger and cash and bank activities. In this role you will process invoices, liaise with suppliers, reconcile transactions, and assist in the month-end and year-end processes. Additionally, you will support with balance sheet reconciliations, credit card management and monthly general ledger journals.

In order to be suitable for this role you will be a confident professional with a relevant degree in this field. You will have an excellent communication style and have solid skill with Microsoft Excel. Please note, there will be a criminal history check that the successful candidate will need to pass prior to starting with the business. Experience of SAP B1 is ideal but by no means necessary. We welcome applications from recent finance/accounting graduates who are keen to kick-start their career.
