Job description
Our client, is looking for a driver to join their team supporting people with transportation to and from locations. Suitable candidates will be required to Drive a variety of vehicles and assist passengers on set routes being responsible for the safe transportation of passengers to day centres and educational establishments. Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
Hours of work:
- 07:30am start daily – finish shift time is around 10.30am/11:00am, returning to depot.
- Afternoon shift is: 14:30pm returning for 17:00pm/18:00pm to depot.
- It is essential drivers complete both shifts per day
Pay Rate:
- £12.18 per hour all hours are flat rate
Duties of work:
- Day to day you would be expected to collect passengers from their homes, assisting them to the vehicle where appropriate, and take them to various establishments. To return them to their home later the same day. This may include the use of a tail lift where necessary and will include handling wheelchairs and other aids. Ensure the physical, mental and social well being of passengers whilst on the vehicle and as part of the caring team to assist in social contact with passengers. As a member of a team, give complete personal care (physical, social, emotional) according to the individual needs of service users.
